Reading Post #3
I have just started reading Quaking and am close to being to the end of the first chapter. It is very hard to get into so far. My grandmother wanted me to read this so she can write a review for her library students. I am having a lot of trouble getting through the first chapter because it is going so slow. I think that once I get into it, it will be more interesting but for now it is painful to read.

I know how you feel! Sometimes you pick up a book and it drags so much that you want to give up! But honestly Katherine, I have never regretted finishing a book, even if it was slow to begin with. I think you're right, if you stick with it, it will start to pick up. There's something satisfying in getting through a tough read; its like conquering a mountain.

i understand. some books are hard to get into right away, but they usually get more interesting as they go on. So keep going with it.
