In New Moon, Edward says that he does not believe that he has a soul. Bella however, is not convinced of this fact. I think that Edward's non-faith is quite sad; I agree with Carslile because Edward is such a good vampire that there has to be more for him than just a pathetic life on earth. He must have a soul because he gave it to Bella which changed him so completely that if he didn't have a soul he would not have been affected at all. Edward totally has a soul. Meyer, Stephenie.
