"Wild 2, Avalanche 0"

Owen Nolan beat his former team. The Colorado Avalanche. He was the only one to score. Niklas Backstrom saved 33 shots from going into the goal. It was a very good game. The Wild played the Avalanche on Sunday night. Owen Nolan says that he was not very excited to beat his team. But to say that Wild are doing amazing is less than the truth. The Avalanche are having problems with their team right now with two of their star players injured. Joe Sakic is out due to an injury to his hand and back while Paul Stastny is out for fracturing his forearm. The wild ended a six game losing streak on the road. Backstrom got his 13 th career shutout and his 4 th of the season. Burns and Bouchard were the two players to assist with the 1st goal. For the 2nd the assists went to Kolanos and Burns.
